Sorry, I cannot express in Croatian, but I would like to inform that Russian "ч" is ALWAYS soft(ć). The softening sign "ь" is used only in verbs "стеречь, беречь" or feminine nouns "печь, дочь, ночь(noć hr.)". In addition, some pupils in Russian schools put the softening sign after the patronymics or last names ending by "-ić" — Prethodni nepotpisani komentar napisao je 70.52.64.181 (razgovor • doprinosi) 22:04, 27. travnja 2007.
- Is that like Chakavian ć? It is old slavic (Chakavian is archaic) and some say it should be written as weird t. — Prethodni nepotpisani komentar napisao je 188.252.255.52 (razgovor • doprinosi) 14:25, 10. lipnja 2016.
- Chakavian dialect has much softer ć than standard Croatian, some subdialects even more softer, like t'. Šć is softer than in neighbouring Western Newshtokavian Ikavian (NSI), or equally soft. Č in Chakavian is softer than č in standard Croatian, or equal as in NSI. Also in comparison with Russian: it's softer. Kubura (razgovor) 08:49, 11. lipnja 2016. (CEST)
To znači da ekvivalent ruskog slova "ч" nije hrvatsko slovo "č" nego "ć" — Prethodni nepotpisani komentar napisao je 83.131.28.60 (razgovor • doprinosi) 12:18, 18. lipnja 2008.
Nije uvijek. Negdje je kao č, negdje kao ć. Kubura (razgovor) 08:49, 11. lipnja 2016. (CEST)
